In 2015, the archeo'fest took place the 23 and 24 May. The weekend was split between a gallo-roman Saturday and a prehistoric Sunday. Besides our regular activities : archery, spear-thrower shooting, gallo-roman mintage, "fire before matches", gallo-roman games, leather bracelet, prehistoric painting... a smith and a celtic warrior as well as falconry invaded the park. Gallo-roman and neolithic cooking tasting were offered.
As part of the "Cats and dogs during the Prehistory and Antiquity" exhibition, in addition to the guided tours, Malagne la Gallo-romaine came to offer to make clay-coil ceramic and dogs figurines modelling. Alain Thimmesch, animals photographer, was also there to photograph your four-legged friends, as well as the Censier Farm which came to show Border Collie herding goose and sheep. Czechoslovak wolfhound were also showed.
The Musée des Celtes from Libramont came to realise a fibula workshop ; a weaver was there with his loom as well as a bone work specialist.
The weekend was the opportunity to introduce our new aMuzeum interactive visit of the regional archaeology collections for tablets and smart-phones.
